It allows aspiring indian youth to serve the country through joining prestigious civil services. The general age limit for candidates who are appearing for the examination is 21-30 years. UPSC tests the candidate by intially conducting perliminary examination(Objective).Once the candidate is successful,he or she has to give MAINS Examination (descriptive). Finally the candidates who are successful in mains examination has to attend the interview (personality test). After clearing all the above tests, UPSC offers the opportunity to work in civil services. More details on the pattern of the examination will be given in my next post. Thank you.
