ISRO has successfully launched HysIS satellite on ISRO workhorse rocket launcher PSLV C-43 from the Sathish Dhawan launch center in Sriharikota on November 29.                                                                                                          PSLV C-43 rocket ready for the launch PSLVC-43 is also carrying 1 Micro as well as 29 Nano satellites from 8 different countries. Kartarpur corridor - Will it open a channel for peace between India and Pakistan?

Kartarpur corridor is a proposed border gate between India and Pakistan connecting the Sikh holy shrine of Dera Baba Nanak sahib in India to the holy shrine of Kartarpur sahib in Pakistan. It is planned to open the corridor for the Indian pilgrims on 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak.   The Kartarpur corridor allows Sikh pilgrims in India to visit the holy shrine of  Kartarpur sahib in Pakistan through a road link without any visa. The shrine is so revered as it is believed that Guru Nanak spent his final 18 years in the Kartarpur sahib.The gurudwara was established by the first Sikh Guru in 1522. Also the shrine is the repository of one of the last copies of  original Guru Granth Sahib. They are believed to be living on the island from the past 60,000 years with no contact with the outside world.  Are they really hostile?? Not really,They give enough warnings to stay away from them and not to intrude into their places. They don't want to contact with other tribes and remain isolated. what is really required for a civil services aspirant......

we have many blogs to get various resources required to prepare for the civil services. But I see few blogs which focuses on the mental strength required for an aspirant to take up the challenge of the mighty civil services exam. Many of the students who were not able to withstand the pressure developed during the preparation, are taking thier lives unnecessarily, even though he/she have many other opportunities lying before them. So as an aspirant we have to imbibe some qualities which help us to stay in the process of the preparation,even though we face various ups and downs during the preparation. During the preparation we need to make small changes in our everday habits to overcome our weaknesses. As vivekananda said "STRENGTH IS LIFE AND WEAKNESS IS DEATH". So we need to be mentally strong during the preparation.But how can we make our mind stronger and stronger so that we can overcome the failures/fear of failure during the lengthy process of preparation. what is indian civil services exam?

The indian civil services examination is conducted every year by UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION(UPSC). It allows aspiring indian youth to serve the country through joining prestigious civil services.The general age limit for candidates who are appearing for the examination is 21-30 years. UPSC tests the candidate by intially conducting perliminary examination(Objective).Once the candidate is successful,he or she has to give MAINS Examination (descriptive). Finally the candidates who are successful in mains examination has to attend the interview (personality test).After clearing all the above tests, UPSC offers the opportunity to work in civil services.
